Pavlova must be one of the most beautiful desserts in the world (hehehe...I'm craze about pavlova). There is a great affection for this desert in Australia, New Zealand and Russia. Have you ever tried pavlova? I'm surrender to the sweet tragedy of my first Pavlova at Serai a year ago. Ummm ... yummy yummy. Oh, how I miss Serai very much especially the Berry Pavlova. The taste was excellent. It’s so awesome. It melts in your mouth, the fruits are so fresh, and everything else is just soooo perfect! I'm drooling for Pavlova! Help me!
Spoken about the history, recipes for pavlova first showed up in written form in a New Zealand cookbook in the early 1930s. It was named for the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova (i don't know why). Pavlova is a simple dessert (like almost every expert will say), with a baked meringue crust (that should still be soft and marshmallowy in the center), filled with whipped cream, and traditionally topped with strawberried and kiwis, although any fruit can be used as a topping. You can read about the history of Pavlova here.

So, I have decided my weekend project should be baking pavlova! I've been searching the best recipes from well-known and unknown chef, doing my researches on the methods and learning the step by step from youtube's videos. In an article, one's did mentioned, 'It is best to make it the night before, and just quickly assembly it when it is time for dessert. Then it only takes a minute to whip the cream and arrange the fruit. Anyone can do it!' (that's really a positive encouragement for me, I can do it!).
Wish me luck for this weekend! Dream more, learn more, do more, cook more ...
